Join Laura Hempel for the Introduction to Down Syndrome (age 0 - 12) course, designed for those new to working or living with children with Down syndrome. This engaging session explores societal perceptions, addresses health implications, and highlights strengths and challenges faced in the classroom or home, equipping participants with practical strategies to foster inclusion and support. Empower yourself with knowledge and become an advocate for children with Down syndrome with Down Syndrome T&SS! Previous participants have stated: · Excellent course, very informative. I feel more confident in going back to school and including the little girl we have with Down syndrome in class · A real awareness raiser. It reminded me of the purpose and strength of inclusion. · I would highly recommend ALL support services and schools undertake this training.
